Blue is the colour of distance, it creates space and prospects. Blue is also the colour of the music festival Hamburger Klangwerktage 2008 | Contemptronics that will take place from the 24th - 30th November 2008 at Kampnagel in Hamburg. In the course of a variety of concerts, talks and workshops, this years festival will offer new perspectives on the latest contemporary electronic music trends provided by the international music avant-garde. These young musicians from around the world are keen to experiment and will seduce the audience with their visionary projects and sounds that range from spherical, bone-dry, sharp-edged and shrill to quiet and sometimes even familiar.
