ITP Winter Show ITP students will exhibit work from the Fall 2007 semester at the annual Winter Show on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 2-6pm and Monday, Dec. 17 from 5-9pm @ITP. Deadline: 0000-00-00 FRONTIER BODIES AMPLIFIED BODIES?... BODY, ART AND TECHNOLOGY: REVIEWING CROSSROADS AND EMERGENT TERRITORIES IN LATECAPITALISM Critical intersections of art, technology and the body. The workshop will attempt to generate a transdisciplinary platform of exchange for a multidisciplinary group of participants, both professionals, students and wider public, adressing: -arts disciplines in the context of new media including performance arts, dance and technology, visual arts, music and sound based arts, architecture and space arts, and text based arts.-critical theory discourses including gender and sexuality studies, media studies, postcolonial and cultural studies, cyberfeminism, ecology, and other fields; as well as their relation to the political. -technology, instrument making, and in particular, technological development in the context of HCI (Human Computer Interaction), movement analysis, gestural control, etc. Deadline: 0000-00-00 Mobile Fest
In 2006, Mobilefest showed some posters from the publication Mobile Minded elucidating the content of this important work. Mobilefest 2007 will show other posters from the same publication which did not have the chance to join last year, thus continuing the graphic exhibition of the work by Geert Lovink and Mieke Gerritzen.
