Peformance: Louis Dufort

This Double Take Event will focus on Louis Dufort's spectacular "Grain de Sable" (grain of sand). This co-production with the "Conversations on Culture" - a committee of the Friends of San Francisco Center for Physychoanalysis - invites Dufort to present his work in a dalogue with the audience. "Grain de Sable" will be performed twice, once at the beginning and once at the end. The discussion will take place between the two performances. Chaired by Jeanne Harasemovitch, LSCW, the exchange will explore the work's relevance to psychoanalytic conceptions and experiences of the power of sound throughout the life cycle.
