30th June - 4th July 2008, 10am to 4pm Institution £350, Individual £300, Student with ID £250, 20% discount for Musicians' Union members.
An in-depth course for beginners covering all areas of Max/MSP and leading up to an informal presentation of participants' projects in the purpose-built Birmingham Conservatoire Recital Hall. After covering the basics, participants will be encouraged to work on their own projects, where more specialised subjects will be explored. Although the course will be tailored to participants interests, areas that will be covered include MIDI, sampling, synthesis, analysis and basic video techniques with Jitter.
