Important Installation Notes

  • QuickTime can be downloaded for free from Apple Computer (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/). Windows users also need a QuickTime-compatible VDIG component in order for your computer to work with an external camera (if you are only using the jit.cyclops object, this is not necessary). At the time of this writing, there are two VDIG components we know about and recommend: WinVDIG (free from http://www.vdig.com/) and Abstract Plane's VDIG (Approximately $21 USD from http://www.absractplane.com). PLEASE NOTE: Without a VDIG component installed, your camera will not work with Cyclops.
