I'm trying to midi map or key map a live.tab object in Live, but it's the same in max. The live.tab object has 3 tabs and I'm expecting that I can assign each tab to a different midi or key command. The only way it works is to have one single midi or key command that cycle between tabs. 

Let's say I have the default live.tab that comes with 3 tabs labeled "one" "two" "three". Let's say I would like to assign the numeric keys "1", "2" and "3" to the tabs in order to directly control the switching. I can' find any possible way; I can assign only one command.

I can't figure out how to have 3 different midi or key command to select directly each one of the tabs of live.tab.

Turns out Windows snuck an update on me adding  Ableton and Max into powersave app profiles in windows power control, causing them to use the embedded graphics card and not my powerful one, so all of my projects were slowing based on visual elements, causing various other bugs.

My understanding is nothing in the Max scheduler happens truly simultaneously. However, when I send a MIDI chord from midiin into a pipe, the pipe delays all the notes by the same amount. When I print before and after adding the pipe, all the notes are spit out together - delayed by the same amount set in the pipe. It is like the pipe is trying to intelligently keep the notes together or something. I need the notes sent out separately. 

I have tried flushing the pipe after each note, but no dice.

I have tried routing my chord notes to separate pipes and delaying each one by one sample more than the other. E.g., pipe 1 delays by 1 sample; pipe 2 delays by 2 samples, etc. It seems to work, but it seems clunky. Plus, I want to eventually add messages from Live parameters (e.g. live.dial) to the mix, and I need to make sure Max does not try to send those at the same time with the chord notes like it is doing with the chord notes. Ultimately, all this MIDI is going to get blasted through a single live.remote~, but I need to send the events separately.

I would like to be able to modulate a plugin's values based on the midi note that is triggering the instrument. I would like to be able to change the band frequency, filter cutoff ect. to the fundamental frequency (or higher harmonics) of the note being played.  Any advice appreciated.

Hello, I'm begging for help, no matter which way I try it doesn't work. 

My goal is to make a gridshape move from one coordinate to another, and when it reaches the destination coordinates, it deletes itself

There aren't any errors in logs, but the node's gridshape just continues moving, passing the endCoord and doesn't stop and deleting itself when it's worldpos equals or more than it's route destination point, which is weird because at some moment, the world position of the node is clearly more than endCoord, but the if statement in queryWorldPos() just doesn't execute, why?

I'm experimenting with a feedback loop idea where jit.world outputs as a texture, sent to jit.gl.asyncread and fed back into the world.

What I don't entirely understand though, is why an erase_color for the jit.world is no longer operational in this context - and whether there might be a way to work around it.
