Once again, don't you think the hiccups are inherent to the fact that jit.qt.movie (and everything later in the chain) operate in the low priority queue? Low priority threads are likely to be interrupted by any kind of threads running in the background. 

Isn't what you want simply a jit.qt.movie in the scheduler thread?
