[jitter] analyzing the content of a video and transform it to numeric data

Hello!

First of all forgive my lousy English! :-)

I was wondering if thereŽs anyone who can tell me how I can analyze the "content" of a video and transform that in numeric data, for example: I want to be able to differentiate one color from another, so one amount of color would give me one number and the amount of another one, well... a different number :D
I donŽt really know how to explain this but my final result would be to be able to differentiate different colors and movements in a video and those differences to be numeric data.
