it depends purely on the data rate you pull from your grabbers. the limits is explained on theimagingsource knowledgebase. then you can add more fire buses (pci cards, epresscards, etc.) as for the activesilicon, be sure the check in advance whether your copy of jitter supports the more esoteric (but often needed) calls of your grabber driver.
