[jitter] cant get cv.jit.faces to run

hello

i cant get any faces detected with cv.jit.faces
my configuration is a powerbook pro with Max 4.6.3 and Jitter 1.6.3 installed on both os x 10.5.2 and win xp (bootcamp)
i tried the following versions cv.jit_OSX_v1.6b1, cv.jit_1.5_jit_1.6_OSX-Intel, cv.jit_1.5_jit_1.5_win with several cameras (build in iSight, firewire cam, logitech usb cam) and several faces
but never got anything detected
with the cv.jit_win32_v1.6b1 version i get a error message "error: Error 126 loading external cv.jit.faces"

other computer vision based programs like the one from vvvv can detect faces with my configuration

any idea whats wrong ?
