Can someone explain to me, in layman terms, what a convolution process involves? I'm familiar with the concept in audio terms (additive, subtractive, etc.), but can't really wrap my head around what it's doing to video. I'm bringing it up because I'm using the jit.wake object with a jit.avg4, and really like the results I'm getting, but I want to understand what jit.wake is actually doing. i read the references, still a little confused. here's the patch, in case it helps: #P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
