Sounds like you're either running an old version of Max MSP, or  
you're running the latest Max 4.6.3/Jitter 1.6.3, but it's finding an  
old version of mxj in your search path (maybe an old standalone which  
contains it?). Make sure you have a clean install of Max 4.6.3/Jitter  
1.6.3 with *nothing* extra in your search path (trash your  
preferences) and see if the problem persists.
