[maxmsp] @ LEMUR in Brooklyn w/GUITAR BOT & no MAX experience

Hi, I'm about 45 minutes in the "know" about MAX MSP.
I just got off the phone with Eric Singer from LEMUR.

I'm flying to N.Y. from Los Angeles tomorrow (tuesday)
to spend 3 days there with audio of a Trumpet player I
recorded here in L.A.


I want to get "Guitar Bot" to improvise based on the
audio file, and potentially improvise with a live Trumpet
player.


Apparently we will be able to extract a midi file from the
audio performance. but beyond that, I'm on my own and in
the dark.


I've never used MAX MSP.

I plan on downloading the demo and digging in as much
as possible.

but I only have a few days.

if anyone out there is around LEMUR (in Brooklyn)

I will be at LEMUR starting around Noon on Aug. 15th
