[maxmsp] basic use of comparisions

Hi there

When going through the comparisions tutorials, something im missing
is ability to do comparisions on a specific range of values , example - if a value is equal or below 40 and equal or higher then 20 - i then have a range of 20 numbers which i can do something with.

Does this make sense, is it a patch explaining this in max tutorials?
