[maxmsp] a methodical way to update MaxMsp ?

You may also have this folder on an external harddrive, with all your
personal objects and patches. This way, you're always up to date on
every computer you use Max on. And you won't have to transfer all your
current patches and wonder why they don't load correctly because an
external is missing or outdated.

On Windows xp pro, there's a trick to set a constant letter to your
different drives. Use C:\WINDOWS\system32\compmgmt.msc ( or type
"compmgmt.msc" in start/run), go to storage, disk management, right
click on your drive, change drive letter and path. This way, your drive
will always be M:\, for example, on every Windows system you said this
drive is M:\. Handy for max search paths.
