[maxmsp] why we will not use max 5

I got the impression from reading this thread that "r**nd c*rn*rs" is  
a type of degenerate alien virus that has somehow lurked its way into  
max 5 source code.

Is it not!? So what does it mean? I am probably too innocent to  
understand...
