there has been talk of working towards an ambisonic reverb at the ICST. suffice to say that this isn't a trivial undertaking. dave malham of york put up a sourceforge project for the reflector, a reflections only roomsimulation in the ambisonics domain which was originally sponsored by the ICST. http://sourceforge.net/projects/thereflector/ the results are available as vst-plugins from what i can see. see also this page on the ambisonia forum: http://www.ambisonia.com/forum/showthread.php?p=34 and talking of ambisonics reverb in general: people have been known to add normal reverberated signals to phantom sources in the ambisonic domain for localized reverb and injected reverberated signals into the W-component (omnidirectional component) for diffuse reverb tails. hth /*j On 04.10.2007, at 16:49, Nicholas C.
