Hello. I am having exactly the same problem. I used to do this quite a lot two years ago, with pro tools LE 6.x. and the latest max at the time. Now I am on 7.0 and 4.6 and basically max does not understand PT as a mixer and PT does not see max in its Instruments (plug ins). As This discussion ended on October the 1st I cannot tell whether they found the answer to the problem.
