hello list, I'm trying to play a quicktime file with 6 audiotracks on windows xp. I'm quite the windows newbie and hope someone here might have a solution.. In osx it's no problem. I have a quicktime with videotrack and three stereo audio tracks. The three tracks are set to L R LS RS C LFE. The system audio output is set to the soundcard and in the audiomidi setup the 5.1 tracks are allocated to 6 outputs on my soundcard. In xp i'm trying the same thing. Quicktime file playback from quicktime player, sending the soundtracks out to 6 seperate outputs on a (similar, rme fface400) soundcard. Problem is that the xp system sound prefs seem to only want to deal with stereo output. I haven't been able to find any way to get more than a stereo signal out of the card from quicktime player. Nor can i find 5.1 system setup prefs anywhere. Google doesnt return any real results either .. Any ideas ? Thanks, Gideon.
