phase cancellation will not work that easy, as the signal of the 
speakers will also have all kinds of reflections and alike, which would 
make it difficult...

It won't be trivial, but certainly possible. If you look at "noise 
print" denoising, which is done with fft, you can create a live "noise 
print" looking only at frequencies which are different than the signal 
you send to the speakers (or much louder)...
