I have two separate sub patches, which are exactly the same, however, each patch is controlled by its own external joystick.(e.g patch 1 is controlled by joystick1 and patch 2 by joystyick2. When joystick1 is wiggled from left to right, the sfplay object in patch 1 should load and play an audio file. The same should happen in patch 2 if a similar action is performed on joystick 2. The actions of joystick 1 however should not have an effect on patch 2 and vice versa. But occasionally moving joystick1 will cause the same audio file to be loaded in patch1 and patch2. Both patches use the same audio files but a separate sfplay object. Is there a way to prevent the two patches effecting each other? E.g. giving each sfplay object a distinct name, or renaming audio files in each patch?
