[maxmsp] 16 channel rubberband controller

you might check on Steim's website - http://www.steim.org/steim/ -  
and see what they have there. when i was doing a concert there last  
spring their tech was working on a very cool controller called "the  
web" that had a lattice of nylon "strings" that you could pluck,  
strum and pull.
