[maxmsp] .mxf Application Mac to PC

.mxf isn't an application, its a collective which requires at least a 
Max/MSP runtime (its free)

You can also build applications, but you would need a full PC version of 
Max on a PC to build it. applications on PC's have usually a .exe 
extension...
