no it is not MAx fault !
and it is a real painful thing
it happens when you have not or forget
the Ilok, it means that you can absolutely not 
open the patch...(except in text, and then remove the vst~etc...,great)
I told Grm aboutthat, but no response

it Happens also with the Korg legacy collection 
the Intel version, here it's not Ilok
but Steinberg key

but same...no key, no patch

...and we continue to pay for softwares
