Making it happen definitely will not be taking up much of *my* time, hence the request for someone, for whom this feature might be really important, to figure out a solution, with as much support as I can give them short of doing any programming myself. Mostly I just want clean, easy-to-navigate discussion archives. Large inline patches, and especially, quoted-in-the-reply large inline patches, run counter to this goal. cheers w
