[maxmsp] MOTU driver strange problems

Hi everybody,

I have a strange problem with MOTU 828mkII and Max/MSP

here is it:

- Max/MSP driver select MOTU - doesn't works - wery high continu sound
- Max/MSP driver select built-in - all is ok sound into internal  
loudspeakers

I change the internal output to MOTU dirver (preferences panel)
- internal sounds is output from MOTU
- Max/MSP driver select bult-il - sound is output from MOTU all is ok!
- Max/MSP driver select MOTU - doesn't works - wery high continu  
sound!!!!!

this is on intel iMac 2.16GHz Core Duo, 1 Go667Mb RAM
Max/MSP 4.6.3

I try the same MOTU to another Mac PowerPC G5 4x2.5GHz, 1,5G RAM
Max/MSP 4.6.2

exactly the smae problems

I take a new version of MOTU driver 1.4.6

I have exactly the same problems - no output form dirver Max/MSP for  
MOTU

BUT

I change the MOTU - I tak another one 828mkII

and... all is ok! Max/MSP is working directly to MOTU!!!

is anybody has the same problem?

where is the problem exactly:
- MOTU driver
- Max driver
- Mac driver......

this problem seams to be realy strange

could somebody help me to resovle it?

our first MOTU is break down? but why ti's working with direct out?
our Max driver is break down? but why it's working with another MOTU  
interface?
