I would also like to hear what people has to say about this. But it occurs to me that you could use fiddle~, and when the rate of vibrations of the frequencies you´re tracking, drop to a certain number you feel like a "silence point", you can then use that as a starting point for whatever you want to do. But there sure is a better way to do it, I´m just an amateur. Cheers, Leonardo. > hello all, > > well, here is my simple idea: > > I want to record a text, some words. in between them there will be silences, and I want max to detect those "silence points" to take them later as starting points for ramdom or controled playing of those words. > > > how could I begin to work on this direction. > > thank you! > > > -- > www.davidfernandez.com.es > --------------------------- > PB 15" 1,67 Ghz. 1,5 G RAM. > Lacie 250 Gb. > Presonus FireBox > Ableton Live 6 > > _______________________________________________ > maxmsp mailing list > maxmsp at cycling74.com > http://www.cycling74.com/mailman/listinfo/maxmsp > > >
