[maxmsp] sfplay problems with iMac....

Hi everybody,

I have a very strange problem:

I have a patch with plabyck system of 36 channels (16mono, 8stereo  
and 1quadro)

all files are playing in differents speeds and diredction and regions

with the 2x2.7G PowerPC G5, 1.5GRAM, OSX 10.4.9

Max 4.5.7

all sfplay are playing at the same time (all is working sound plaing  
and visual interface)

with iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16G, 2GRAM, OSX 10.4.11

Max 4.6.3 - there are lot of interruption and "little loops" in the  
plaing the sf!!! with about half of sfplay (cca 16) all is working  
but more it's started to be impossible!!!!

Max 4.5.7 (on the same computer) - seems to be working !!!! but there  
are not visual interface (I have a timing and position interface for  
every sf and it's not working but sound is playing (there was 2-3  
interputions when I changed the application in the same time when  
sound was playng)

it's mean, it is impossible to use


Is anybody had a same problem?

it's seems to be a problem with intel and Max version.................

any suggestion?

is there any debuging for 4.6.3 version of Max before version 5????
