Hi Emmanuel,

I increased the buffer of all my sfplay and now I have an other Intel
computer to make a test:

buffer from old 20160 changed to 40320

iMac - seems to works well

PowerBook black OSX 10.4.9, 2,16GHz, 1GRAMM - doesn't work, the first
16 sfplay works but any other sfplay is stoped

i have another question:

I don't unterstund very well the [buffer size] explanation in sfplay
help file:

here are buffer sizes for 1-8 channels and 9-16 channls

but I work with
25 sfplay objects - 16mono, 8 stereo and 1 quadro => I play 36
channels in the same time with 25 sfplay objects

it's works very well with buffer size 20160 on th G5 and PC Pentium4
2,8GHz with Max 4.5.7
but not with Intel... 4.6.3

which size of buffer have I put to play 36 channels on th Intel, in
the same way like on th G5?

is somewhere an another explanation of disk buffer size for sfplay?
or somebody can explain me?

thanks a lot
