That sounds like a valid explanation :-) Thanks. Luckily the solution to the problem is rather simple come to think of it: just build a small routine that checks all breakpoints whenever one of them is changed. When two of them share the same x-coordinate, subtract a small value from the x-coordinate of the first one and replace it. That should do it.
