[maxmsp] stop counter from reseting itself

Is there a way to tell counter to NOT reset when it reaches its
maximum? In other words, STOP counting bangs?

I could create a gate to stop it from counting bangs but I'm wondering
if that might superfluous if there's a simpler way.
