Apologies for the OT ness, but there is a connection - I want to run Bootcamp in order to port some Max projects. Atm, I'm running OS 10.4.11; as I understand it, this 'upgrade' broke Bootcamp on some, if not all systems. Whether or not this was a cynical trick by Apple to make us buy Leopard, I don't know*, but I do still have a copy of the Bootcamp beta for OS 10.4 versions prior to .11, so my question is: is it possible to 'downgrade' to OS 10.4.10, and if so, will the old Bootcamp still run, or did it actually have an expiry date ? Are there any other caveats to attempting this, such as QuickTime compatibility or suchlike ? I actually have a Leopard installer disc on my desk, but am reluctant to use it whilst there is no supported version of pro Tools available (and even when it does appear, I'll probably have to wait another six months whilst Digidesign debug it ) Cheers Roger *The only reason I have to doubt this is that I can't imagine the Apple marketing team supporting a campaign that ran along the lines of 'Buy Leopard - it will enable you to run Windows!" ;-)
