I'm sure it has something to do with the signal rate > snapshot~/ edge~ combo, but can't figure out why that would be. in your case it's pretty easy to avoid going into max-event-land. simply use a [sah~] object to sample the playback position everytime the grainphasor snaps back to zero. there are already tons of examples showing how to do it in the archives. vb
