I've edited the couple Extras that I use regularly > (DSP Status and GlobalTransport) to not be floating windows. I completely agree. I have closed the patch that I was working on numerous times when I was really trying to close the DSP status or Global transport window. Very glad this is personalizable, but wish the default would not be to float windows. Command+W should be able to nuke anything that looks like a window as far as I'm concerned. If I were on a widescreen, it wouldn't be a problem, but on smaller displays, it's helpful to be able to kill windows quickly. On an off note, my extras have disappeared from the menubar; or rather, "Extras" is there, but there's no items when I click on it. Anybody else had this happen? Peter McCulloch
