[maxmsp] Bpm tracking

Hi all, I'm having trouble making a bpm counter.

I've got a signal pulse in the form of a bang and want to track its bpm and display it in a number box. 

I know its simple but i just can't seem to get it going.

....I think I need to use the timer object?


Any help greatly appreciated
