As far as I know plugins in Logic can't put any control data back into the logic environment by themselves. It can be confusing that fader values are sent out the audio object when you drag a fader in a plugin interface, but this data is more like a copy of the input that the audio object -receives- from any source (mostly automation and the plugin interfaces). Also I didn't succeed in feeding any fader values back into the same audio object to control a plugin in any way.

You could of course use max standalone to send midi data to logic that is converted to fader values in the environment..
