It could be the host MIDI timing problem. When I tested Nuendo and Logic 7, Nuendo actually shows better performance in my system but some Logic user claim Logic 8 should have better MIDI timining than 7. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5516960 MIDI jitter is a very sensitive matter and affected by a lot of things, OS configuration, motherboard, memory. Host sequencer is just a part of it. Check SOS magazine Dec 2007. Have you ever tested the MIDI timing accuracy of the LOGIC in you system? Any difference between pluggo mode and stand alone mode? 6ms jitter in Pluggo mode in my system is still not very welcome, so I wish someone at C74 could take a look at it. MAX MIDI accuracy is much better (1ms).
