[pluggo] Re: get DP5.12 working after Pluggo-induced crash

is replying to yourself on a forum the first sign of geek-madness?

for others out there; although pluggo was the last thing i was using, it turned out that modulo [a DP synth] had corrupted.  my advice [because DP does crap out sometimes] is:

drag to desktop 3rd party plugs from MAS plugin folder [eg altiverb].
trash MAS plugs.
run latest DP updater; this reinstalls MAS plugs.
drag 3rd party plugs back in.
rebuild permissions [do this all the time anyway].
hey presto!

does anyone else out there agree we should have a Pluggo/Digital Performer thread?
