This may not be relevant, but I have noticed that udpsend seems not  
to be totally well-behaved in a plug-in; I came to the (perhaps  
rushed) conclusion that it wasn't totally thread-safe and/or not  
working propery in overdrive. Everything worked fine when I switched  
to an MXJ implementation of OSC.
