Just make that patch, all you describe is well possible in Max. Load the files into a buffer~, use groove~/play~/wave~ for playback, throw in some vst~s, record the result into a new buffer~, save the buffer~ with a name extended by -processed or something. when the buffer is played till its end, load the next file. Throw any input into the mix... If you just use the internal processing you can speed things up with using the nonrealtime driver...
