[pluggo] AU crash in Live

I do have some defer calls if I remember right (gotta go look) upon 
plugin initialization, but that's not the point that this user had 
the crash -- it was when the plug was instantiated, and processing 
audio.  He then went to adjust a dial or something, and it crashed.

It's a one time event so far, so I'm not going to go crazy digging 
for the problem, but I've got my fingers crossed that the bug doesn't 
surface again...
