[pluggo] controlling un-pluggo parameters in ableton?

has anyone had success using pluggo to modulate/ control a host parameter in ableton live?  I ask this because ableton does not have a lot of support for internal controllers and this is pretty limiting for me, so I wanted to make some internal controllers.  Is there a midi configuration that I don't know about?  Is there a trick that you can do with midi ox?

I'm running ableton 5 on a windows XP
