this happens only in logic and that since version 4.3 - sorry this isnt a solution at all, i know. be lucky that you are only looping and changing the song position, worst is when you run plug-ins which do inter-plug-in audio (aka pluggobus, send~, send ...) -- http://vst-mac.info/
