[pluggo] intercepting MIDI in Logic 8

I want to create a plugin to insert on instrument tracks in Logic 8.

The purpose is to grab the midi from the track, process it, and then have the instrument play the modified midi (instead of what was in the original track).

Is this possible? And how?
