[pluggo] trouble with my pluggo on another machine

I have a pluggo which uses the third party object lp.scampi. I included this object when i built the plugin. the pluggo works fine on my machine which is a ?
1.25 Ghz G4
OS 10.4
latest pluggo
DP 5.12

I placed it in the vst folder of my brothers computer ?
dual 500Mhz G4
os 10.3
latest pluggo jr.
DP 4

and i ran the AU scan.

Now the strange part ? i started up DP, which popped up its scanning plugin dialog and it scaned my pluggo fine then showed that it was scanning lp.scampi like it was a plugin and froze. clicking cancel didn't do anything. I had to force quit.

Any ideas?
