[pluggo] cpu usage of pluggo in max/msp

I'am using a 1.25 Ghz G4 (Alu-) Powerbook with 2 Gb RAM under Mac OS 10.4.10 and Pluggo 3.6.1, MaxMsp 4.6.3.

 When I use a Pluggo-Plugin ("Cyclotron" described as cpu:light in the manual) in a vst~-object the CPU-usage in the DSP Status window stays aroud 2% while the OS-Activity monitor says 80% is used by max. The fan starts immediately to blow. Is this known as normal, do I have to buy a macbook to use two plugins paralell?
