[pluggo] Re: DP 5 PLuggo Problems

Several users have indicated that they have had startup issues running Pluggo 3.6.1 with Digital Performer 5.1.3 on Leopard.  Although Cycling '74 does not officially support Pluggo running on Leopard, most users have been able to get Pluggo 3.6.1 up and running just fine, and we have not been able to replicate the startup issues with Digital Performer.

If you are having errors on startup of Digital Performer, the first thing to do is a clean install by running the C74 Plug-In Cleaner included in the installer.

If this doesn't seem to help, several users were able to get started by doing the following:

1. Remove all of the Virtual Instruments (i.e. Laverne, pgs-1, etc.) from .../Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Pluggo

2. Run Audio Unit Scan

3. Start up DP to see if Pluggo is working

4. Quit DP and return all "Virtual Instrument" Pluggos (so that now all Pluggos are back in place)

5. Run Audio Unit Scan and Launch DP
