Same thing here, but after Waves, the fatal error became from Digidesign control surfaces, then from Soundtoys plug in........really weird.

Talking of this on the DUC (after downgrading to 7.3) someone pointed the fact that actually the culprit was the pluggo.dpm.

I replace everything except the pluggo plug and my system is rock solid again for mor than a month now...
