No, it was just a way to check if pluggo works correctly.

Well, learning Max is different from learning Protools although not necessarily more time consuming. The way I see it: Protools is an end-user application. That means it's their responsibility to make you understand it. Learning Protools costs a lot of time because they do quite a horrible job at that. Max is a programming language. That means it's your responsibility to make your own program, and of course you'll design it in a way that works for you. Learning Max can cost a lot of time, depending on your background, because you have to learn how to program.

But yes, there are a lot of great tutorials. They come with Max. Have a look at them and you'll see that learning how to program is a lot faster with Max than with a text-based programming language, simply because Max' syntax is much more intuitive.
