>hi all, > >does anyone know if this sexy controller >is compatible with Radial? > http://www.behringer.com/BCD3000/index.cfm?lang=eng Our definitions of "sexy" vary considerably. This is only a cursory look at - yes, it's the obvious place - the *manual,* but it would appear (see p. 18 or so) that the knobs are all discrete MIDI continuous controllers, and the buttons are mapped to MIDI key numbers (sorry, I didn't check the big jog wheels). If that is, indeed, the case, then someone who spent a little time with the radiaL "Getting Started" manual would know how to create control maps for this - or any other - MIDI controller. What is less clear has to do wtih some details about their drivers. The claim is that you don't need any special ones, which would imply that the object functions as a generic MIDI key/controller device. So I can't tell you about that bit. -- on the floor there's a long wooden table/on the table there's an open book/ on the page there's a detailed drawing/and on the drawing is the name I took Gregory Taylor http://www.rtqe.net
